Pet Care and Services
TLC Pet and Home Services provides coverage in the Sisters, Oregon area. In addition to the rates listed for each service, there is a round-trip mileage fee from my home in Tollgate to your home at $1.25 per mile. Additional fees may apply for non-paved/gravel roads/driveways or hazardous conditions.
Additional Pets: We realize that extra pet fees are pretty arbitrary; not all households’ pets require extra time and care. Because we value transparency in pricing, we use a 100% time-based model: we only charge for the scheduled time it takes to provide quality care to your pets and to follow through on promised home care. If at any point we feel the scheduled time is insufficient to provide appropriate care for your pets, we will reach out to you to discuss an extension as necessary.
Key and Paperwork Fee: $25.00 per drop-off / pick-up (plus mileage fee) if we need to schedule a key/paperwork collection/drop-off after the initial consultation or independent of any scheduled services. Avoid this fee by setting up a lock box or other key-less entry! You can also drop-off/pick-up keys and paperwork by appointment at my home location in Tollgate for no fee.
Holiday Rates: All rates increase 50% on the following holidays: Memorial Day weekend, Independence Day (and weekend, if applicable), Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving (and the Friday/weekend after Thanksgiving), Christmas Eve through New Years Day. Holiday bookings require a 100% non-refundable deposit.
Please note: We provide dog walking services for dogs trained to walk on a loose lead and who are trained to obey basic commands of sit, stay and heel.

Description
Doggie Daycare/Boarding
I offer limited in-my-home daycare and overnight boarding. Accommodations consist of full access to most of my pet-friendly home; three separate large fenced areas; paved walking paths and national forest service roads for safe walks. If your fur-baby is leash trained, a daily 30-minute walk is included with daycare and overnight boarding (weather dependent). I evaluate behavior of pups carefully. If everyone gets along well, they can hang out together both inside the house and in the fenced yards. If I note signs of aggression or anxiety being in a pack, I have plenty of ways to keep pups safely separated. Safety, health and comfort for the dogs are paramount here.
Requirements for the opportunity to hang out in my fun-filled-furry-friends-place:
* Must be fully vaccinated and proof must be provided from vet clinic via email, as follows: DAPP (a.k.a. DHPP); Rabies; Leptospirosis; Bordetella; Canine influenza vaccine
* Negative fecal test for parasites and Giardia
* Neutered if over the age of six months. Potential extra charge for females in heat.
* Internal and external parasite prevention program in place
* Basic obedience trained – Sit, stay, heel
* Not a constant “barker” (inside or outside)
* Indoor kennel trained (10 PM to 6:30 AM)
* Clean and non-stinky greatly appreciated!

Dog Walking
Dog walking provides your dog an opportunity to get exercise, personal attention, affection and play while you are at work or busy with other errands. Research shows that dogs who have enough exercise feel less stress, exhibit fewer signs of separation anxiety, and have a healthier social temperament. In simple terms: a walked dog is a happy dog. Please note that your dog must be leash-trained for their safety and for our safety. We provide dog walking services for dogs trained to walk on a loose lead and who are trained to obey basic commands of sit, stay and heel.
$25 for 30-minute walk

Drop-In Visits
Drop-in pet sitting visits are great for pets that need care while you’re out of town or at work all day, but not necessarily an overnight companion. (Many cat owners choose this option for their, ahem, independent furry roommates.) Each visit can be scheduled in your desired increments (as long as you’d like, and as often as you need), and include the following:
Care for your pets as many times per day as needed, making every attempt to maintain your pet’s regular routine. You’ll notice we said pets, as in, plural. We only charge for the scheduled time it takes to provide quality care to your pets, however many you have, and to follow through on our promised home care
All the love, hugs, tummy rubs, and attention your pet needs
Fresh food, water and treats
Walks, exercise and playtime
Medication administration
Cleaning/tidying up of pet areas
Potty breaks and cleanup of pet waste
Home-related care, like collecting newspapers, mail and packages, watering your indoor/outdoor plants and gardens, alternating lights and blinds, putting out trash, caring for your outdoor wildlife (squirrels/birds).
Any other reasonable pet or home care—we personalize every visit to accommodate you and your pets needs!
$25 for Standard Drop-in Visit

Pet Taxi
We’ll pick up your pet and drive them to wherever they need to go and back: a vet appointment, a grooming appointment, etc. Wherever it is they’re going, we’ll get them there and back home safely. (Please note that all dogs will be transported in a crate in the back of an SUV).
$25 per ignition fee + $1.25 per mile (round trip)
(note: this is a drop off and/or pick up service so it could entail two ignition fees. Mileage is round trip from my home at 69261 Lariat)
In-Room Hotel Pet Sitting
Visiting our beautiful city of Sisters or the surrounding area sometime soon? Sometimes when you’re traveling for fun or business, the family pets get to come along, too! When you want to enjoy area attractions in beautiful Central Oregon (or if you’re stuck in an all-day conference meeting), our pet sitters will provide one-on-one pet care in the comfort of your hotel room. Just like a regular Pet Sitting visit, your pet will enjoy walks and playtime, we’ll provide regular feedings and administer any necessary medication, and make sure your pets get plenty of love and attention so you can have a great time out on the town (or while sitting in a conference meeting).
$40 per hour
(one-hour minimum and then billed in 15-minute increments)
Overnight Pet Sitting
Professional Overnight Pet/House Sitting for those pets who prefer to have a frequent human presence. Let’s face it: pets are happiest when they’re in their own home. With our Overnight Pet Sitting Service, your pets can stay in their own environment even when you can’t be there. You can feel secure knowing that your home has the added measure of security that Overnight Pet Sitting provides; your home is taken care of, in addition to your pet. Consider this option the closest thing to being home yourself.
Standard Overnight: This is a 12-hour stay from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Overnight pet sitting includes a minimum of: evening pet care routine, PM walk and overnight stay; then morning pet care routine + AM walk. If an additional mid-day walk is needed, read on for the options below.
Super Overnight: All services offered in a Standard Overnight, plus a 30-minute midday walk/visit.
Super PLUS Overnight: All services offered in a Standard Overnight, plus two additional 30-minute midday walks/visits. A fantastic option for households with puppies, older dogs, or pups who are used to having lots of action/work from home.
24-hour Homestay: This is the best option for medically fragile pets, new puppies, or other unique needs. Your pet sitter will be away from your home for only a maximum of two, two-hour breaks in a 24-hour period (in extreme cases less time away can be arranged).
Every single Overnight option includes, at a minimum, the following care:
Pet care as described above and to your specifications
Midday walks as determined by scheduled overnight service type
Overnight stay (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
All the love, hugs, tummy rubs, and attention your pet needs
Medication administration
Cleaning/tidying up of pet areas
Home-related care, like collecting newspapers, mail and packages, watering your indoor/outdoor plants and gardens, alternating lights and blinds, putting out trash, caring for your outdoor wildlife (squirrels/birds).

Keep in mind that your pet sitter will have other pet sitting or dog walking rounds, but will be using your home as their “home base.” The time spent with your pets will vary based on your sitter’s schedule, however, it will always include at least the minimum time stated above and, likely, more. Remember, it’s the closest thing to being home yourself!

PAYMENT POLICY:
Payment in full is due at the time of reservation of services via Venmo or Zelle (Client pays any associated fees). Invoices will be provided via email with payment instructions. All services must be paid for in advance of the service date. All refunds will be issued via Venmo or Zelle within 24 hours of notice of cancellation of services.
CANCELLATION POLICIES:
Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking services if the start of services is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least eights days before the start of services. No refunds for cancellations made within seven days of the first day of services. Please understand that I have a strict cancellation/refund policy for a reason … I provide very high-level care for your pet and/or home with professionalism and great attention to detail. In return, I ask for a high-level of commitment from my clients to protect my time by not cancelling services and requesting a refund after I’ve reserved that time for them. Because I only take limited clients at a time in my home, can provide overnight stays for only one client at a time and can provide only a limited amount of drop-in visits/walks per day, I have to turn down other clients once your reservation is made. Please don’t make a reservation with me for services if this cancellation policy is not acceptable to you.
